Rune Activation = On fierce attacks the energy stored within the runes etched onto the blades of the Mage Knights is released in a brilliant flash. On Hit Rolls of 6 the Mage Knights' Rune-scribed Blades attack deals magic damage instead of slashing.


Veneficus Miles Militis, also known as Mage Knights, are the citizen-soldiers who serve as the backbone of the Legions. Equipped with runed Lorica Segmentata, this armor provides outstanding protection combined with weight reducing enchantments for enhanced mobility. Their runed blades flash with lethal enchantments on savage hits, the destructive energies causing grievous wounds. The Mage Knights receive martial training alongside other mercenary units. Their mystical training consists of learning to cope with their armor and when best to activate their blades' enchantments. Their place as the largest cog in the machine that is the Legion is well-assured.
