Special Abilities
Full Potential = The inner works of a Maku are complex, with proper direction it functions much more efficiently. If Warmachine Maku is under the effects of an Elite Machine Pilot's board it gains 2" of movement in addition to the movement bonus provided by the pilot and may use the its reel-in ability below.

Reel-in = The hooks fired by the Maku have long wires attached to them to the reel them back in, but an expirienced pilot can do much more with them. If the Maku is boarded by an Elite Machine Pilot and hits a Character or Infantry with its Steel Hooks attack, the pilot can use the returning hooks to trip the target, preventing them from moving next turn. If it hits a large unit or building unit, the Maku can pull itself towards the unit, moving to it in a straight line to melee range of the hit unit.

One of the greatest advancements in Nadare's Warmachines, The Maku is the first warmachine designed specifically for personel use. Though it can function independantly, an elite pilot can use it as an extension of their own body, able to perfrom great feats with this amazing tool. Maku look like large suits of dark metal armor. Each arm contains a winch attached to a steel hook that protrudes just above the forarm, and the left arm also has a large blade as well. Originally Maku were used in shipping and labor work to help workers haul and secure heavy objects more easily. When converted for the war effort, the original tools were not even replaced; they already made for effective weapons. The best pilots have even developed some more creative techniques, using the hook and winch as a sort of grappling hook to pull the legs out from under enemies or haul themselves right up to buildings.
